Video eMail
I'm always try to be unique and innovative to set myself apart from the competition. You will find several things on this website that are just that, unique and innovative . And the best part is, they sell more cars!
Sometimes getting someone to reply to your email or answer their phone when you call is the toughest part about following up withe a prospect. Many times, Video Email does the trick.
One of the the unique things I did three years ago before most anyone in the car business even knew it existed was VIDEO eMAIL. Not the kind where you send an attachment but a link that the customer simply clicked on and viewed a personalize video email! A welcome video, a personalized walk-around, regular follow up and the list goes on. Needless to say, they were always blown away!
The system I use, I simply login, click record, talk and click send. Thats it! Mere minutes. To record a walk-around, it only adds only one more step. Simplicity at its best.
Computer World wrote an article on 3/25/05 called "Video e-mail goes corporate" where they wrote about how people were using video email in the business world. They also interviewed me on how I was using it in the car business"
"That is exactly what Chrysler Group sales representative Chris Hanson did when he responded to a woman interested in a Chrysler 300 vehicle. Hanson replied to her questions via video e-mail and told her that the car she wanted was in the showroom. That same day, she drove three hours to purchase the car.
"Adding a face to the e-mail adds a new dimension to your selling," said Hanson. After the transaction, he zipped off a follow-up video message thanking her for her business. "Customers can get the same information from other dealerships, but if you have a decent personality and can portray that in your e-mail, the customer will connect with you," he says".
Three years later there are a few companies who are selling video email to dealerships for $900 a month and up. Why? Because it works. People like to watch video. But even though its three years later, customers are still shocked when they get a video email from a salesperson. Unique and innovative.
The next phase in all of this is branching out and using videos in other ways like YouTube. In the next few weeks I will show you how to use video and video email to sell more cars.
If you are interested in using video email, my wife sells different packages depending on how many salespeople will be using it and how many videos will be sent a month.
And the best part is, for a single user, the price is only $99 per month! A common package she offers for multiply users is only $197.50 per month!
