  1. “8) Who is responsible for making updates to your website (specials, incentives, etc) and how often is it done?”
Boy, isn’t this true? You see it everyday; a dealer website that hasn’t been updated or maintained in weeks or months.
Seems to me, as a consumer I used to get my initial impression of a retail business’s personality and professionalism from 1) its advertising, 2) its storefront appearance, or 3) both. Today, I Google everything when I want info and so my initial impression of any retail business is the one I get from its 1) popularity in the search engines and 2) its website(s).
    Am I alone in that?

  2. Yes Trace, that’s what I do as well. Google, look at their website and what they have to offer….or not and decide to stay or leave.
Most dealers will admit they are getting the bulk of their traffic from the Internet but when you look at their website it is still “under construction”, “no specials at this time”, “dealership has not added staff”, default text, default text, etc.
